NREMT seeks applications for EMT-at-Large position

Candidates are expected to have experience in leadership and education in the provision of emergency care

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Board of Directors of the is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the EMT-at-Large Public Health position. This board member will serve a 4-year term.

Candidates must be registered as a Nationally Registered EMT or Paramedic and should have demonstrable experience in EMS leadership and education in the provision of emergency care. Previous involvement in National Registry initiatives is preferred.

Selected board members are required to attend two in-person Board of Directors meetings annually in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, board members may be asked to serve on committees involving extra in-person or virtual meetings and conference calls.

These are volunteer, unpaid positions. All travel and related expenses incurred related to National Registry Board activities will be reimbursed.

Interested applicants should apply by , along with a current CV and cover letter, by July 29, 2024. Candidates will be notified of the results no later than Nov. 15, 2024, with a public announcement by November 30, 2024.

The successful candidate will commence their term on Jan. 1, 2025.
