COLUMBUS, Ohio 鈥� The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (National Registry) has opened the 2024 recertification cycle for EMTs, AEMTs and paramedics, running until March 31, 2025.
In response to community feedback, the National Registry said it aims to with new updates designed to enhance efficiency for clinicians and approvers.
Key updates to the recertification application to improve efficiency for clinicians and approvers are:
- Simplified Application: Fewer steps for quicker submission.
- Fewer ConED Questions: Reduced questions on continuing education for faster processing.
- Automatic Course Assignment: CAPCE Import tool now auto-assigns courses to NCCP topics, reducing manual work.
- Improved Submission: Most applications will auto-submit once recertification and payment are completed, minimizing incomplete submissions.
